Share My Spirit of Adventure

  My roots are in the country.  A very small town girl from the rural farming, ranching and oil region of North Central Texas.  My family never traveled except to visit family - mostly within a 3-4 hour drive from home.  I don’t know where the wanderlust came from.  Books probably as I usually had my nose stuck in one reading about faraway places.

   When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I would reply confidently, “an archaeologist “.  Not sure where that came from either but I have always loved rocks and the earth sciences (my Dad was in the oil business), history, architecture, and learning about other cultures.   I never became an archaeologist but it has been my blessing to walk among many treasured archaeological sites throughout the world.

   I love to travel and I love sharing my personal travel experiences with everyone. I have visited 37 countries on many cruises, tours and other types of independent travel both Internationally and in the US.  I’ve visited 47 states and the District of Columbia. I can use my knowledge of the places you are interested in visiting to help you plan a great adventure. It doesn’t matter if you have just started seeing the world or if you have been globetrotting for years - I can add value to the process.

   I will start by asking numerous questions so I have a good understanding of your objectives. Then I’ll do in-depth research of each location on your wish list and augment that info with the personal experience I can share with you. Next I’ll give you some options - maybe a cruise, a cruise with some additional time at or near the cruise departure port, a guided tour or a personalized tour.  I will include pros and cons of each option.

   I  love traveling with family and friends and can give you advice on how to ensure traveling with others is a great trouble free adventure for everyone.

   When it’s time to hit the road, I’ll prepare a package for you with all the information you will need during the trip. I am very detail oriented as you will see during the entire process from selecting your itinerary to choosing the travel type that best meets your expectations, to experiencing your dreams becoming reality, and finally to coming home with wonderful memories.
