My mom started cruising in 1979 and I was worried every time she was on one (so much water and swimming was not my favorite thing). I guess it was just fear of the unknown because when I started cruising in 1996 I quickly discovered there was nothing to worry about. Now I have been on almost 30 cruises and I am a certified scuba diver with 250+ dives on my records. My favorite places to cruise are Alaska, Hawaii and the Panama Canal. My favorite places to dive are Roatan, St. Thomas and Cozumel. All that water is awesome!
Cruising is a great family vacation. I take grand children with me on almost every cruise. They love it because there are so many things to do - they are never bored.
